2. Hosting and Access Data
Our website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. STRATO processes the data required to operate the website on our behalf.
When you access the website, the data processed includes your IP address, the date and time of access, the page or file requested, browser information and, where applicable, the address of the previously visited website.
This processing enables us to provide the website, resolve technical problems and prevent attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of our website.
STRATO stores IP addresses for detecting and preventing attacks for a maximum of seven days. According to STRATO, access logs made available to website operators contain anonymised IP addresses and are retained for up to six weeks.
3. Contacting Us
When you contact us using the contact form, by email or by telephone, we process the information you provide to handle your enquiry and respond to follow-up questions.
The contact form requires your email address, company, subject and message. Your contact name and telephone number are optional. The form cannot be submitted without the required information.
Where your enquiry concerns entering into or performing a contract with you, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other enquiries, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is responding to enquiries and maintaining business relationships.
We use STRATO as our hosting and email service provider for the technical transmission and storage of this information.
We delete resolved contact enquiries no later than six months after they have been closed. Data is retained for longer only where statutory retention obligations apply or where it is needed to perform a contract or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. In such cases, the data is deleted once the relevant reason for retention no longer applies.
4. Language Preferences
When you select a language, we store your preference in the “pll_language” cookie. This allows the website to display your chosen language on subsequent visits. The cookie is stored for one year.
The cookie provides the language function you expressly selected and is used under Section 25(2), point 2, of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). Where personal data is processed, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is respecting your language preference.
You can delete the cookie or prevent cookies from being stored through your browser settings at any time.
5. Website Statistics
We use Koko Analytics in “Cookieless” mode to analyse website usage statistically. No analytics cookies are set. Processing takes place on our own server, and statistical data is not transmitted to the provider of Koko Analytics.
The analysis includes page views, referring websites and, where applicable, campaign parameters. To recognise returning visits within a single day, a hash is generated from the IP address, browser user agent and a secret value that changes daily. The temporary data stored for this purpose is deleted each day at midnight. This method does not recognise visitors across multiple days.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is analysing website usage while minimising the data processed and improving our website.
Aggregated statistical data is retained for twelve months and then deleted.
6. Your Rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability under Articles 15 to 18 and 20 GDPR.
Right to object: Where we process your data under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object under Article 21 GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may object at any time to processing for direct marketing.
Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it was withdrawn.
To exercise your rights, please contact info@schwadtke-projects.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly in the country of your habitual residence, place of work or the alleged infringement.
The supervisory authority responsible for Berlin is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.
